We had a jam-packed summer of exciting business activities for Poketti, and I really hate to see it come to an end. School and ballet will start in two weeks, and that means lonely days for me without my business partners by my side. Sniff.
This summer, Sydney and Toni launched their Young Entrepreneurs Web Series. Their first video was just plain fun, teaching kids the art of manipulation, or "how to convince your parents to buy you a Poketti" (or any toy for that matter). It's a proven strategy, take it from me.
They released their second episode just yesterday. In this video, they share tips, tricks and insight for growing for your business using Social Media. The advice is coming from a couple of experts (teens) so naturally, you'll want to see what you can learn from two girls who act as if the iPhone is a body part. Don't worry, there is a glossary of terms at the end. They cover:
- A breakdown of social media basics
- The art of the hashtag
- How to increase your followers on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, etc.
- How to steal followers from your competition
- How to save time managing your accounts
- Tips on engaging with your audience
Sydney and Toni have learned quite a bit about running a business and are eager to share with other young entrepreneurs. We are exploring new topics for future episodes, such as "How to survive a trade show" or "How to get ready for a sales call" or even "How to create a big-company brand."
